Hello all…

Lots of wind will continue this afternoon, temps in the low/mid 40s… wow what a difference a day makes – that 70 yesterday was so nice !!!  In addition to the windy and colder weather today, some brief very light rain showers will occur on occasion. Here’s the latest radar as of about 11:20 am EST.  Spotty light showers (and some sleet) just northwest of Louisville moving rapidly to the southeast.

Looking forward…

An  upper trough to slowly transition through the regio the next 2 days or so.  There will be another upper disturbance / speedmax coming down the back side of the trough tonight. With R.H.’s in the 80 to 90% range in the 850 to 800 mb layer and temperatures cold enough for ice crystal generation, a few flurries will certainly be possible across the region later tonight into early Saturday.  The high winds will slacken off  some tonight (it’ll still be breezy but not as gusty) and then realy diminish tomorrow as the center of a cold high pressure system moves right over us.  After a cold night tomorrow night (20s), sunshine and southeast breezes will provide a nice recovery for Sunday afternoon… low to perhaps mid 50s.  Have a great Friday and weekend all ??
