Late AM Friday

Hello all,

Okay precip now breaking out across the region, many reports of light snow coming in from near Louisville and points north now. Very light snow at my place in NE Jefferson county.

Here’s the radar view as of 11:08am EST.

A couple of decent snow bands north of Louisville right now.  Sfc temps at or above freezing so no problems expected on the roads but radar returns suggest a light coating certainly possible on the grass/elevated surfaces under those heavier bands the next 30 to 60 minutes (i.e.  Orange, Washington, Scott, Jefferson (IN), northern Clark counties)…

We’ll keep you posted…

BTW, the 12z GFS is in for this event.It looks alot like the NAM as far as QPF amounts go. Still a dusting upto 1 inch for the entire viewing area looks good at this time.

  2. I only trust U 2 tell the weather!!!!!!! I use 2 watch wave 3 but a friend told me about U & I got hooked
